Your Current Book - In Pictures

This activity involves a little creativity on your part.  I want you to pick up the book you are reading right now and think about a way to tell us a little about it - through pictures.

Create a blog post and link it here using the Mr. Linky below.  Include the Random Reading Activity Challenge Button in your post so others can join in the fun too.

You have until Friday, May 7th to link your post.  A winner will be chosen randomly from all the entries. The lucky winner will be able to choose a prize from the PRIZE LIST page on this blog.

Here is my example.

Right now I am reading two books.  One of them is KISS OF DEATH by Rachel Caine.  It is the 8th book in the Morganville Vampire Series.

Morganville, TX is a college town. Texas Prairie University is located there and is the reason Claire Danvers moved to Morganville.  She is a super smart girl and graduated high school early. After having trouble living in the dorms (Monica, the queen bee, and her minions torment her endlessly), Claire looks for a place to live off campus.  Luckily, she finds the Glass House, where owner Michael Glass allows her to move in with him and two other tenants.

In addition to bullies, Claire must learn to adapt to the other unique thing about Morganville - the fact that it is overrun with vampires.

Residents pledge loyalty to certain vampires in exchange for protection.  They wear bracelets to let everyone know, including other vampires, who they "belong" to.  The residents are required to donate blood on a regular basis as payment for their protection.
One of the places that plays a big part in the books is Common Grounds, the local coffee shop.  It is owned by one of the major players in town. The reason it is so important is because it is the only neutral in town.

Claire, Shane, Eve, and Michael become a tight-knit group.  Together they battle the evils, both alive and dead, of Morganville. Not only do these books contain action and adventure, they also have a nice amount of light romance.

Rachel Caine writes these books in such a way that the reader feels like they know the characters.  I can picture myself hanging out with the gang at Common Grounds during the day and sitting around the living room listening to Michael play his guitar and watching Shane play video games at night.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this series.

Okay, now it is your turn.  I can't wait to "see" what you are reading. Use Mr. Linky below.
